Entrepreneur from the age of 16, Elliott has worked in the private sector for 5 years before moving to international humanitarian work. Avid traveler, he has lived in Japan and volunteered in development projects in East Africa and South Asia. Elliott is dedicated to turning more people into humanitarians and fulfilling It'sOneHumanity's mission. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Peace and Development in Sweden.
Gifted strategist, Mahmoud has served as the Vice President of Talent Management at AIESEC, the world's largest student-run organization. Having recently completed an MBA in General Management in Belgium, he has been engaged in multiple management consulting projects around the globe. Global citizen at heart, Mahmoud is always keen to apply his skills to tackle social issues for positive change.
Gerardo Dasyel Mendoza Capetillo
Gerardo was appointed as a "Citizen Ambassador to the United Nations" by Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on UN Day 2010. As a UN Citizen Ambassador, he has the responsibilities to spread the word about the values and principles of the UN. As Coordination Director for It'sOneHumanity, Gerardo is looking forward to building strong partnerships with more activists and humanitarians around the world.
Megan McAninch
A global health enthusiast, Megan is pursuing her Master’s degree in London. Born in Portland, Oregon to a rather adventurous family, Megan has travelled extensively—including multiple trips to the Amazon, living with monks in Tibet, working in Geneva, and developing community health programs in Chad and Uganda (also known as her “heartland”). She looks forward to the growth of It’sOneHumanity is thrilled to be amongst this generation of humanitarians.
Bariq Rifki
Bariq is the Founder & CEO of Tanmanssi, an organisation that helps youth to express their voice via their skills and talents in Djibouti. As a blogger, a dancer, and an artist, Bariq is passionate about social media. Holding an MBA, Bariq is a marketing lecturer at the University of Djibouti.
